With her record “99¢” dropping Friday (3/1), Santigold is doing some NYC area press/shows to help premiere her latest record in four years. Since the announcement of a large scale tour which hits the boroughs at Hammerstein Ballroom, the Philly artist is doing two free-ish events.

The first, is a pop-up shop at Jacks NYC this Friday (2/26) where attendees can hear the record in full while experiencing a large-scale installation created in part with collaborators NuCalifornia and Bel Downie. This event is completely free, 18+.

One week following this event is a proper album release show at Rough Trade NYC. The singer will perform a few tracks off the new record as well as, sign records during a meet and greet afterwards. The only way to get into the show is to buy a wristband with the record on the album’s release day, Friday (2/26).
